96' - 97' Boys Reds

Thorsten spend his early years in the shadows of the German Bundesliga and developed his passion for soccer during the ’74 World Cup.  After moving to the US, he played on several travel teams and contributed to his High School’s run to the PA 4A State Semis.  Thorsten has been involved with youth soccer for 6 years, and joined the Thunder SC coaching ranks in 2006.  He is involved in coaching BU12 and GU10 teams during the '08-'09 season.

Youth Coaching Philosophy
Maximize technical skills training through individual touches and in a competitive environment with the goal of providing the youth player confidence with the ball in a challenging yet fun format.  Focus is on individual player development.  Touches, touches, touches.....
