The United team had been coached by Jeff Taylor and Shaun Fleming since U8. Since the fall of 2009 (the beginning of U11), the team has been coached by Tony Corbett, Director of Coaching for TSC. Coach Corbett has a proven track record with numerous winning teams, and has previously been Head Coach of several ODP boys age groups and coached at the NCAA collegiate level.
As preparation for the outdoor season, the team is doing futsal training, practicing once per week in a gym, and will be playing the second indoor session at the Soccer Dome.
Additionally, the team has entered several spring tournaments, including the SAC March Mania in Columbia, Jefferson Cup in Richmond, and the Potomac Memorial Day tournament.
We are seeking 2 top level field players to round out our Division 1 roster. The team practices in Howard County 2 times per week.
