Sam Haddad, head Coach of the Thunder Magic and former GM of the Women Premier Soccer team “Maryland Pride.” Sam is a father of two daughters Ashley and Emel and he is a Product/Operation manager with a Satellite Communication Company.
Born on June, 19, 1966 and raised in Jordan. Sam had exposure to soccer from an early age, specifically when he played youth soccer at the professional D1 Jordanian “Kawakazi” youth program. Sam played soccer at club and college level overseas and in southern California. At age 20 he joined the highly competitive San Fernando International League and played at the state and national level against teams from Mexico, Peru, Canada, and Bolivia.
Sam started coaching his two daughters in 1999 and has been involved in coaching youth soccer since that time. He has an extensive background in coaching youth soccer at the recreation, classic, and travel levels. Coach Sam holds a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) “D” Coaching License and an (NSCAA “National” license.
